About
the Luthier
Ed Simon got his first guitar from his father on his 9th birthday. He was so awed by the feel and sound he took all the strings off and looked inside to see how it was made. That was the beginning of a lifetime love of guitars.
Ed is a self taught Luthier who makes his instruments one at a time, from the beginning assembly and setup to using a genuine nitrocellulose lacquer, aged natural or choose a color finish. Ed uses modern tools, as well as traditional hand craftsmanship to produce unique, high quality guitars at a reasonable price.
